Artur Dutkiewicz is a well known Polish jazz pianist and composer. He was awarded a diploma with distinction by the Music Academy in Katowice (Poland).
In 1987 Dutkiewicz was a finalist in the prestigious Thelonious Monk Competition in Washington (USA). He performed solo for 30 years and with his own trio in jazz festivals and concert halls all over the world.
He will present several of his own jazz mazurkas influenced by Fryderyk Chopin and Polish folk music, connected with modern jazz improvisation, and perform some of his compositions from his solo album The Blue Path.
