Blind since birth Elena Piras gave her first performance to 30,000 in her native Sardinia and since then has developed a style that includes elements of Sardinian Folk, opera and jazz, delivered by her strong vocals.
In the last year in Scotland she notably supported the late Alistair Hulett, appeared on the Danny Kyle stage during Celtic Connections, and recorded her debut album ‘Journey’.
