Craig Murray is a human rights activist, writer and former British Ambassador whose diplomatic career ended in ignominy when he was sacked by the Foreign Office following his vociferous criticism of human rights abuses in Uzbekistan.
He will discuss his book, Murder in Samarkand, which put him at loggerheads with the Foreign Office and was adapted into a play by the respected political director David Hare. It was recently broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and featured David Tennant.
