The Merchant Sinfonia provides a great opportunity for amateur instrumentalists to polish music skills, get back into music, or to have a go at playing in an orchestra for the first time. Led by cellist and conductor Louise Martin, the sessions are fun and focussed, allow for players of all abilities to work together and everyone is mentored under the expert tuition of players from the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
