To close the evening, the Scottish Ensemble and Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir has collaborated to create a short sequence of music for strings and choral music by Arvo Pärt and John Tavener, to include the world premiere of a piece written for the Scottish Ensemble by Tavener.
