Iain Copeland of the Peatbog Faeries takes the Acoustic Affair in a different direction with this blend of electronic dance grooves, acoustic roots, and traditional celtic music.
A project he has been developing for a number of years, he uses cutting edge Abelton DJ technology on a laptop and percussion while improvising live with a band of notable roots and traditional musicians, including:
Ross Ainslie (Treacherous Orchestra, Salsa Celtica) – pipes whistles, Mandolin
Adam Sutherland (Treacherous Orchestra, Peatbog Faeries, Session A9) – Fiddle
Michael Bryan (Treacherous Orchestra, Nuala kennedy Band, Mhairi Hall Trio) – Guitar
John Spiers (Finlay MacDonald Band) – upright and electric bass
Iain Copeland ( Peatbog Faeries) – Drums, percussion, laptop
