Mozart premiered his Symphony No.36 in Linz in 1783. It was an immediate hit with audiences and remains one of his most popular works. The fascinating social history of this robust and entertaining work, as well as its exhilarating energy, will be expertly analysed by Andrew Manze, one of Britain’s leading musicians.
