Celebrating two of Nyman’s many collaborations, the Michael Nyman Band play hits from Nyman’s film music – featuring hits from his work with Peter Greenaway – then we come bang up to date with his most recent work with singer David McAlmont, The Glare.
The link is film: McAlmont has worked with Nyman to turn selected numbers from the film scores into songs that set off his soulful voice against the ever changing colours of the Nyman Band to superb effect.
