Denmark’s current Jazz Ambassador the Year, gifted pianist Helle Lund and her trio play fresh, inventive original music as well as keenly melodic interpretations of jazz standards and Scandinavian folk songs. They’re joined on their Glasgow debut by saxophonist Raymond MacDonald, whose work with the Burt-MacDonald group and other collaborations has won international acclaim.
