Over the years, Strathclyde University’s BA Applied Music course has cultivated some of the best jazz talents in Scotland. With saxophonists Konrad Wiszniewski and Paul Towndrow, guitarist Graeme Scott and drummer Alyn Cosker being listed amongst the course’s distinguished alumni, it’s clear that the calibre of their students is very high. In this series of Rush Hour Jazz gigs, Stewart Forbes directs the course’s current Jazz Majors in a showcase of fresh talent.
