BBC SSO presents Taverner (Peter Maxwell Davies at 75)

An all-star, international cast joins the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra to present a rare concert performance of Peter Maxwell Davies’ seminal opera, Taverner.

Premiered by the Royal Opera in 1972, Taverner is based on the life of the 16th century English composer John Taverner.
