The BBC SSO’s Thursday Night cycle of Rachmaninov’s symphonic works is completed in this special edition of Discovering Music, when the orchestra, together with conductor Alexander Titov and presenter Stephen Johnson, opens up the striking harmonies and urgent rhythms of the Symphonic Dances.
Tea and Symphony
Join us for a delicious lunch of soup and sandwiches followed by a selection of cakes, as well as unlimited tea or coffee, for just £6.45 from 12.30pm at any of our Afternoon Performance or Discovering Music events. Served in the Candleriggs Bar at City Halls, spaces will be in high demand so be sure to pre-book when you book your concert tickets at the Box Office.
