Stan Tracey, known as the ‘Godfather of British Jazz’, is an outstanding figure in the jazz world. His distinguished career has spanned six decades.

Stan Tracey has toured, performed and recorded relentlessly into his ninth decade. He holds numerous awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award, which he received at the 2002 British Jazz Awards. Having been appointed an OBE in 1986, he was made a CBE for his services to music in 2008.

He is joined by his regular longstanding trio of Andrew Cleyndert on bass and Clark Tracey on drums with the addition of the highly talented saxophonist Simon Allen.
