Presented by Dogstar Theatre and written and performed by Scottish actor Matthew Zajac, this multi-award-winning one-man show, exploring his Polish father’s experiences during World War II and subsequent life in Scotland, was a sellout hit at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe.
Directed by Ben Harrison, of Grid Iron Theatre Company, and incorporating live fiddle music from Gavin Marwick (Sat 24th) and Jonny Hardie (Sun 25th), it was praised by The Observer as “a triumph of evocative staging and storytelling”, and by Fest magazine as “a stunning realisation of the one-man form.”
