RSNO - The 10:11 Season Fantastique!

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall : Main Auditorium

Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

Hector Berlioz never did anything by halves. From the supercharged imagination of an artist in love, his Symphonie fantastique is just that – fantastic! Once heard, never forgotten: and fellow-Frenchman Stéphane Denève has this music in his blood. Szymanowski’s gorgeous, shimmering Second Violin Concerto is altogether more refined, though in the hands of the great Frank Peter Zimmermann, it’ll be every bit as intoxicating.
