Stéphane Denève opens an exciting new RSNO Season with one of the most popular symphonies ever written, Dvorák’s New World, whilst James MacMillan conjures up scenes from an old world evoking strong musical resonances of Britten’s Peter Grimes. And star soloist Nicholas Angelich, heading a Season of glittering pianists from across the globe, performs Ravel’s most dramatic work, the Concerto for the Left Hand.
