Emerging Boston singer-songwriter and guitarist Antje Duvekot burst onto the American folk scene in 2006 with her debut studio album, Big Dream Boulevard, with songs that feel at once both fresh-faced and firmly rooted, driven by the whispery sensuality of her voice.
She has won some of the top songwriting awards including the Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, the prestigious Kerrville (TX) ‘Best New Folk Award’ and the Boston Music Award for ‘Outstanding Folk Act’, three of the top prizes in the singer songwriter world.
