Scottish Chamber Orchestra Season 09:10 : Beethoven Five

City Halls : Grand Hall

Please Note: This is a past event event.

Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

There is a thread running throughout the 2009/10 season: The Age of Romanticism, from its seed (Mozart and Haydn) to its late flowering (Janácek, Sibelius and Strauss among others). Joseph Swensen sweeps through more than a century from the triumph of Beethoven’s Fifth, to Borodin’s epic and exotic landscape and Sibelius’ arresting concerto.
