The Maximum Rhythm N’ Blues tour reunites original Manfred members Paul Jones, Mike D’Abo, Tom McGuinness and Mike Hugg, pioneers of the groundbreaking British rhythm n’ blues scene, who will perform their classic hits, including Do Wah Diddy Diddy, 5-4-3-2-1 and Mighty Quinn.
This show will feature The Manfreds on stage throughout the night introducing all their classic hits and those of their special guests Alan Price and Maggie Bell.
Alan Price has enjoyed a successful career in music, film and theatre spanning over 40 years. Initially a member of The Animals, he went on to have big solo hits in the mid-60s with I Put A Spell On You and The House That Jack Built.
With her unique and soulful voice, former Stone the Crows vocalist and founder, and singer of the hit Hold Me with B.A. Robertson, Maggie Bell wowed record buyers and critics alike with her first solo album, Queen of the Night. Vocally regarded as Britain’s answer to Janis Joplin, Maggie returned to the UK music scene in 2006.
