Fruitmarket Folk Drever McCusker Woomble
Friday 3rd October 2008, 9.30pm
Old Fruitmarket :

Before the Ruin is an album of some of the freshest and most original contemporary folk song-writing by three of Scotland’s finest (and busiest!) young musicians – guitarist and vocalist Kris Drever, fiddler John McCusker and vocalist Roddy Woomble. Their talents traverse the spectrums of folk and rock and the resulting sound is the most enthusiastic foot-stompin’ music for miles.
Support will be in the form of Cherish the Ladies singer Heidi Talbot, who will showcase tracks from her new album In Love + Light, and London songwriter Boo Hewerdine, who wrote Patience of Angels for Eddi Reader.
