The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra accompanies the three finalists in the concertos of their choice.
Conductor Martyn Brabbins is well known for his sympathetic approach to working with emerging artistes. Thirty young pianists from a dozen countries worldwide have taken part in the competition, and the three finalists have been chosen by an international jury of celebrated musicians.
