In Discovering Music, guest presenters, conductors and experts join the BBC SSO to give a fascinating and entertaining insight into some great masterworks. In this edition, the orchestra, conductor Takuo Yuasa, and presenter Stephen Johnson, open up the ravishing colours of Stravinsky’s most popular ballet, The Firebird.

Tea and Symphony
Join us for a delicious lunch of soup and sandwiches followed by a selection of cakes, as well as unlimited tea or coffee for just £6.20 from 12.30pm before any Discovering Music or Afternoon Performance. Served in the Candleriggs Bar at City Halls, spaces will be in high demand so be sure to pre-book when you reserve your free tickets at the City Halls Box Office.
