RSNO Naked Classics Johannes' 2nd Joanna Concerto
Thursday 16th October 2008, 7.30pm
Glasgow Royal Concert Hall : Auditorium

“Some little piano pieces,” said Johannes Brahms of his massive Piano Concerto No.2.
The work is so big, in fact, that some say it should be called a symphony, not a concerto. But what’s the difference? And does it matter?
These questions and more are tackled, using graphics, excerpts, lighting, interviews and solos by presenter Paul Rissmann, conductor Stéphane Denève and guest soloist Steven Osborne.
