Since its first performance in 1742, Handel’s masterpiece Messiah has become one of the most popular choral works in the world.
The RSNO and RSNO Chorus are proud of its tradition of performing the oratorio annually on 2 January, and this year the Orchestra is delighted to welcome back Nicholas McGegan, a conductor renowned for his special relationship with Messiah.
