Legendary singer-songwriter John Martyn has romanced generation after generation for more than 40 years with his powerfully heartfelt song-writing. In this concert he will be revisiting his classic album, Grace and Danger and playing some of his best loved songs, as well as showcasing new material.
With a catalogue of stunning albums including London Conversation, Bless The Weather, Solid Air and Grace and Danger, John Martyn this year received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and the Les Paul Award at the MOJO Honours List 2008.
With his huge voice, characteristic backslap acoustic guitar playing and his effects driven experimental journeys, John Martyn remains an important and influential figure in both British folk and rock.
