Two of the sensational young finalists in BBC Two’s Classical Star programme, Aberdonian Guitarist Ian Watt and Glaswegian Bassoonist Karen Geoghegan, step out in front of the BBC SSO to prove their mettle away from the TV cameras in a special recording for BBC Radio Scotland’s Classics Unwrapped.

They’ll each play solo items, as well as their instruments signature works including Rodrigo’s Concierto d’Aranjuez and Elgar’s Romance for Bassoon and Orchestra.
