Norway's Nils Petter Molvaer is well known as one of the innovators of the Nu-Jazz scene, fusing electronic and jazz sounds since his debut album Khmer on the ECM label.
His music brings together elements of jazz, rock, hip hop, electronica and drum n' bass, and is popular with listeners and dancefloors alike.
He has also collaborated on a series of remix projects with the likes of Bill Laswell, The Herbaliser and Matthew Herbert.
