Ray Harris & The Fusion Experience is the brainchild of the exceptionally talented keyboard player who pushes jazz into the electronic slip stream with an experimental fusion of jazz, funk and soul.
Voted best newcomer at the Marlborough Jazz Festival '07, this is Ray's only Scottish date in his summer tour in between performances at The Hague Jazz Festival Holland amongst others. Ray Harris & The Fusion Experience make a welcomed return to The Glasgow Jazz Festival 08 to coincide with the release of their album.
The Everything Treatment refuse to adhere to musical boundaries. Electro, funk, and world influences collide in an explosive live show, featuring the vocals of Lu Angel. Their unique sound draws on everything from the psychedelic 70s funk experiments of Miles Davis, to the deep moody trip hop of Portishead and Goldfrapp. Their last 12" on Buff Records was a big hit on the DJ scene, notably featuring in Mr Scruff's top 10.
