The Scottish Ensemble gets the season off to a thrilling start in October when they are joined by the amazing young trumpeter, Alison Balsom and the talented Scottish pianist Alasdair Beatson, making their debut with the Ensemble.
They will share the stage for Shostakovich’s Concerto for piano, trumpet and strings, in a programme that includes Albinoni and Corelli.
