Have you ever wondered what makes a musical masterpiece tick? How do the great composers create the magic of great music? In each Discovering Music event, guest presenters, conductors and experts join the BBC SSO to give a fascinating and entertaining insight into some great masterworks and explore the essence of the genius behind the notes.

Tea and Symphony
Join us for a delicious lunch of soup and sandwiches followed by a selection of cakes, as well as unlimited tea or coffee for just £5.95 from 12.30pm before any Discovering Music or Afternoon Performance. Served in the Candleriggs Bar at City Halls, spaces will be in high demand so be sure to pre-book when you reserve your free tickets at the City Halls Box Office.
