Formed in 1947, the 60-year-old Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir is one of the Wales' most distinguished male choirs.
Following successes on the competitive stage, the Fron Choir has toured extensively across the world, entertaining audiences in London, Paris, Cologne, San Sebastion, Athens, Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, Chicago and many other places.
They signed a record deal in 2006 with Universal Classics and their debut album, Voices of the Valley, outsold every classical album last year, shifting 100,000 copies in three days and earning them a nomination for the Classical Album of the Year award.
With performances on Parkinson, at the Classical Brits Awards with Katherine Jenkins and the Wales v Ireland rugby match at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium under their belts, the choir are undertaking a sold-out British tour this spring.
Affectionately known as "the world’s oldest boyband", the Fron Choir bring their unique and powerful sound to a wealth of tunes, ranging from the stunning versions of traditional melodies such as Amazing Grace and Suo Gan, to sublime reworkings of pop favourites such as Yesterday and Bridge Over Troubled Water.
