Charlie Landsborough
Tuesday 28th October 2008, 7.30pm
Glasgow Royal Concert Hall : Auditorium

Legendary singer-songwriter Charlie Landsborough and his five-piece band are well known for keeping concertgoers enthralled. His heartfelt, telling lyrics and his very human anecdotes captivate his audiences wherever he performs. His music, which ranges from inspirational to country, from ballad to anthem, truly hits the spot while on stage he is as entertaining as he is melodic.
Having written compositions himself that have been covered by many famous artists Charlie will be paying tribute to some of his own favourite writers as well as performing his own songs, mixed in with original material and, of course, his own great sense of humour.
Charlie also has a new album out this year, Under Blue Skies, which sees him returning to his more traditional roots of penning tales of love, loss and morality to an infectious melody, the type of which, through songs such as My Heart Would Know and What Colour Is The Wind, has won him so many admirers over the years.
