NYOS alumnus **Garry Walker** returns to the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, to conduct their Summer Concert Tour 2008.

In a special concert tour, launching NYOS’ 30th anniversary year, the Orchestra will perform a full and varied repertoire, including popular works by Britten and Shostakovich.

NYOS is delighted to welcome one of Britain’s brightest young violin stars, soloist Jennifer Pike.

Jennifer, who at the age of 12 was the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, will join the orchestra in a performance of Max Bruch’s romantic and ravishing _Violin Concerto_.

The National Youth Orchestra of Scotland is a symphony orchestra for 12-21 year old musicians in Scotland.

The musicians in NYOS are of the highest calibre and the Orchestra performs throughout the year in a variety of high profile venues in Scotland, the UK and around the world.
