Jazz Glasgow 2007/2008 Scott Hamilton with The Sermon Organ Trio
Saturday 29th March 2008, 8.00pm
City Halls : Recital Room
Please Note: This is a past event event.

The leading American swing saxophonist loves playing with Hammond Organists. The deep groove and harmonic hook up with the sound of the tenor, make for hard driving, swinging jazz, with powerful blues content. On Hamilton's last Glasgow visit, he and organist, Paul Harrison, got talking and the result is the collaboration we hear tonight, with the Organ Trio completed by the grooving guitar and drums of Malcolm McFarlane and Tom Gordon.
