Discovering Music is one of the hits of BBC Radio 3’s schedule, an informative and entertaining exploration of some of the giants of music and the stories behind them.

Each event features a guest presenter and conductor who dissect a core work using specially selected musical extracts and historical anecdotes, which are followed by a complete performance by the BBC SSO.

Tea and Symphony

Join us before Discovering Music for a delicious lunch of soup and sandwiches followed by a selection of cakes, as well as unlimited tea or coffee for just £5.75 from 12.30pm.

Served in the Candleriggs Bar at City Halls, spaces will be in high demand so be sure to pre-book by contacting the Box Office.
