Young and enthusiastic conductor Richard Tognetti brings the Australian Chamber Orchestra to Glasgow for their debut Scottish performance.

British tenor Mark Padmore completes the line-up and showcases his Bach expertise. He has been especially recognised for his leading roles in Bach's Passions and Cantatas.

Tognetti has worked hard to build the reputation of the orchestra and they frequently combine more traditional repertoire with their own interpretation of contemporary songs. Expect a sense of energy and individuality too, as uniquely all the artists perform standing.

This group must be the best chamber orchestra on earth. (The Times)
