Glasgow Royal Concert Hall : Auditorium

Over the past 15 years Moscow Ballet – La Classique, founded in 1990 utilising ballet dancers from the Bolshoi, Kirov and leading Ballet Theatres of Kiev and Odessa and the CIS Countries, has thrilled ballet lovers throughout the world during hugely successful tours, earning themselves vast international acclaim.
World-renowned soloists Nadejda Ivanova, Ekaterina Shalyapina, Andrey Lyapin, and Alexander Sedov lead this fabulous Moscow Ballet Production under the direction of Elik Melikov.
Coppélia is a classical ballet in three acts, regarded as one of the jewels of classical ballet and representing one of its true comedies. In a love story infused with charm and comedy, Coppélia, an amazingly life-like doll, captivates the flirtatious Franz, to the despair of his feisty fiancé Swanilda, but true love eventually wins the day in this truly enchanting tale of eccentric old toymaker Doctor Coppélius and his clockwork creation.
Together with a supporting cast of youthful, mischievous characters, this is a hugely enjoyable dance-spectacular, perfect for ballet lovers of all ages!
