Nana Mouskouri is the most successful female singer in history. With more than 350 million units sold worldwide, her recordings have outsold the Beatles and Elvis Presley combined.
Possessing a breathtaking voice that has captured fans in every corner of the globe, Ms. Mouskouri reigns as an unassuming superstar and is now in the final stages of a worldwide farewell tour that will take her to five continents.
Nana Mouskouri also travels the world as a UNICEF ambassador, where she has made personal donations to help the lives of children in almost every country she has visited. This uniquely gifted lady also served her native country, Greece, as one of its members to the European Parliament where she championed the rights of women and children.
Her legions of fans around the world deeply regret Nana’s decision to unpack her bags after 45 years of touring the world. When asked why she has decided to retire from touring, she simply says, “It’s time.” For those lucky enough to get a ticket, Ms. Mouskouri’s Avery Fisher concert represents an opportunity of one last song from Nana with love.
