Nicola will also perform Bruch’s beloved first violin concerto, all under the baton of internationally acclaimed conductor Leonid Grin, embracing popular works by Schubert and Beethoven where you will have the rare opportunity to see Nicola perform throughout the evening.
Named BBC’s Young Musician of the Year in 2004, Nicola Benedetti has captivated audiences and critics with her performances and poise. Nicola’s career is continually going from strength to strength, performing with many of the top international orchestras and at prestigious festivals around the world.
Having recently returned from her fourth US tour and her debut with the Deutsches Sinfonie Orchester at the Berlin Philharmonie Nicola now looks forward to future engagements with the Tonhalle Orchestra, the Tonkünstler Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the opening season of London’s Royal Festival Hall , premiering the new John Tavener commission, and a performance at the Barbican’s Mostly Mozart Festival with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields.
