The Edinburgh Youth Orchestra return to City Halls as part of their Easter 2008 concert series.
This year's soloist is John Wallace, who will perform Hummel's Trumpet Concerto. The programme will also include Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man, and Mahler's First Symphony, and will be conducted by Garry Walker.
Founded in 1963, the Edinburgh Youth Orchestra is a full symphony orchestra with 120 players aged between 13 and 21 years of age based in Edinburgh, which, with a reputation for its exciting overseas tour schedule, has established itself as one of Europe's leading youth orchestras.
