Petula Clark is Britain’s most successful solo performer of the 20th Century. Embracing every aspect of show business, her worldwide career virtually defined the term “International Superstar”.
Since her incredible talent first brought her to prominence as a child star during the Second World War, her career has spanned acting, recording, playwriting, songwriting, singing – from theatrical performances to sell out concerts around the world to brand new recordings in the 21st Century that are among the best of her career.
Petula has recorded in excess of 1,000 songs, sold more than 70 million records, appeared in over thirty films on both sides of the Atlantic, and has graced the musical stage here and in the States, to huge critical acclaim.
Petula conquered the international world of pop with the unforgettable Downtown followed by a long string of classics including: This Is My Song, I Know A Place, My Love, I Couldn’t Live Without Your Love, Don’t Sleep In The Subway, Colour My World and many more.
She continues to wow her audiences worldwide with her beautiful vocals, embarking on a new UK tour this Spring, as well as releasing two new albums.
