Last year’s stunning Raven was the first duo recording from multi-instrumentalist and Solas founder John Williams with guitarist Dean Magraw, but it drew on a musical partnership dating back over a decade, weaving in jazz, Latin and film noir strands among its traditional Irish influences.
Two of the busiest men at this year’s festival, singer/guitarist Kris Drever and banjo ace Éamonn Coyne, team up to here launch their new album, Honk Toot Suite.
