In this special staging for BBC Radio 3’s late-night new music programme, Hear and Now , Ilan Volkov and the BBC SSO are joined by a true renaissance man of modern music, Chris Cutler. Best known as an improviser in contemporary music, Cutler is an extraordinary percussionist, composer, lyricist and theorist whose collaborations with the orchestra are guaranteed to create an unrelenting and truly unforgettable sonic experience.
