In this live broadcast on BBC Radio 3, the leader of the BBC SSO, violinist Elizabeth Layton shows off her versatility by directing the orchestra in two superb British works. Acclaimed British clarinettist Michael Collins takes on a dual role as soloist and director in Weber’s charming concerto.
