Presenter Stephen Johnson, the BBC SSO and conductor Stefan Solyom take one of Sibelius’s most enduringly popular works to pieces giving audiences a unique chance to look into the mind of this great composer. Using specially selected extracts, followed by a complete performance, Discovering Music will show how Sibelius formed and assembled one of his greatest compositions.
