Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

Opening the BBC SSO’s Autumn Season is a concert that serves as a prelude to the Sibelius cycle ahead, and demonstrate the orchestra’s renown. Symphonie Fantastique has always been the work with which Berlioz is most closely associated, and Ilan Volkov makes this revolutionary masterpiece entirely his own.

Pre-Concert Prelude: Ilan Volkov introduces the orchestra’s new season in conversation with BBC Radio 3 presenter, Sara Mohr-Pietsch.

Post-Concert Coda: Ilan Volkov directs the BBC SSO in the Scottish Premiere of Benjamin’s Dance Figures – this is prefaced by the entertaining duo Viola, Viola, featuring Scott Dickinson and Andrew Berridge.
