Award-winning singer-songwriter Kris Kristofferson has reached living legend status as one of America’s clearest and most important voices, having penned such classics as Me and Bobby McGee, Help Me Make It Through the Night, Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down and For the Good Times.

Kris Kristofferson achieved remarkable success as a country songwriter at the start of the 1970s. His songs of love, gratitude, ageing, war and his ever-present theme of freedom helped redefine country songwriting, making it more personal and serious.

This Old Road, his latest and most intimate album to date, is a beautifully sparse recording which puts emphasis on his fine lyrics and distinctive voice by featuring just Kris, his guitar and harmonica, with only the most subtle of accompaniments.
