A firm favourite of Scottish audiences, Christian Zacharias is that rare thing – a truly visionary musician.
Throughout his career he has kept a clear focus on a small number of composers whose music truly fascinates him, among them Mozart, Schubert, Scarlatti and Beethoven.
This concert sees him play and direct three very different pieces Beethoven wrote as a young man in his twenties and thirties.
