The premiere of Judith Weir’s seasonally titled new work marks this out as a must-hear concert. She may not seek public attention or capture the headlines, but she is constantly in demand worldwide and no-one can boast a finer back catalogue.

The masterly Oliver Knussen conducts and brings his own moving Requiem to Scotland for the first time.
