Brüggen and Hagner gave a sublime interpretation of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto last Season.

They return with the delightful Mendelssohn Concerto – a piece the legendary violinist Joseph Joachim called “the heart’s jewel” – paired with the composer’s symphonic homage to Scotland.
